beautiful sky

I have been loving the beautiful skies outlined by leafless trees at sunset.

such a fun day with the kids. we made peanut butter filled pine cone bird feeders and hung them in the snowy tree.

thoughts for today so far.

Today I am cooking a pot roast for the first time. My 4 year old daughter just came down the stairs in a bathing suit and flip flops saying "I am all ready for my beach party mama". It is February and School is out due to the snow storm. We baked salt dough shaped hearts today for friends, we are waiting for them to cool to decorate.

Today is a good day, I feel like I got a lot done which gives me the joy to spend more time with the kiddos.

To be done, get cozy, snuggle with that little face and really look at her when she talks to me. The best feeling is being close to her. There is not enough time to really play or focus on her with the baby and other obligations....I also love love love the baby, but miss my time with her , when I was able to focus more. I hate when she asks can you play and I have to answer not now.

For my children to have a happy healthy beautiful life. I hope that they will find real love , joy, comfort and peace. I hope that they will always think well of thier parents and become good parents if they so choose. I wish I can be with them for as long as my grandparents were with me.
